What brings you here?

You do not need to arrive with the right words.

Maybe the same conflict keeps returning, even after you have tried to talk it through. Maybe your relationship feels distant, your family is going through a difficult transition, or you have been holding everything together for so long that you no longer know what you need. Therapy gives us room to slow things down, notice what is happening underneath, and understand the patterns that keep pulling you back into the same place. Together, we can find a way forward that feels more honest, more connected, and more possible.

A thoughtful space for anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity, and the patterns that keep repeating.

My work is trauma informed, relational, and collaborative, drawing from emotionally focused, narrative, and family systems approaches.

Portrait of Lisha Shi

Meet Lisha

Curious, direct, and deeply human.

I am a bilingual Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who works with individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. My style is warm, collaborative, and engaged. I will listen carefully, but I will also help you notice patterns, ask meaningful questions, and put words to experiences that may have been difficult to name.

As an immigrant, I understand that relationships are shaped not only by personality, but also by language, culture, family expectations, migration, and the different worlds we learn to live between. Therapy with me is not about telling you how your life should look. It is a conversation that helps you understand yourself and your relationships more clearly, so you can make choices that genuinely fit your life.
